People don't like myspace because it's typically where teenage kids act all emo and think they're important and bla bla bla, basically it's "cool" amoungst elietest type people to hate myspace. Yet I don't see anything wrong with having an account and just keeping your friends on it, no one says you have to trudge through the other amount of crap on it (and yeah, there is heaps of crap on it .. but there is also some hilarious stuff .. Jefree Star for example).

Why Ed has one .. I dunno, seems like the done thing with most music artists these days is to have a myspace account.

myspace is actually a great tool for bands. I do promo for a band called The Ruse. They're not signed, they're nobody to most people in the world. Well, when they do tours what do I do? With myspace I have the ability to search for people 5 miles from whatever club they are playing and can send messages and get people interested in hearing new music. music.gif They've gotten tons of people out to shows this way. I for one have found a lot of bands on there and now I get little reminders when shows are coming up. Great for the busy mind. It also makes people such as Ed accessible to the fans in a different way...makes people feel more connected. And in my opinion that's not all bad.

Granted, adding strangers is not going to happen with me personally any time soon, but you have to see that it is useful when done the right way. smile.gif

Hey, this could be a stupid question, but I'm still gonna ask! smile.gif

Have you seen Stuart Davis' picture on Ed's My Space? Is that really him? Cus I've seen that video of him performing "Smoke" with Ed on Integral Naked, and he didn't look that female there.
That pic reminds me of the bald "woman" in the Lightning Crashes vid...

It's Ed. I had a conversation with Adam about it. Note that Adam is his first Friend.
