Very true, but I see where he's coming from .. like, I think he means if TC is pretty much the only album you acknowledge that Live has ever done and real fans know their entire body of work whether they like it or not .. there are plenty of people who turn up at concerts and scratch their heads even when Lakini's Juice is playing, like they've never heard it before, they come purely for Lightning Crashes, I Alone and possibley "that song about his daughter".

Or maybe that's not what he meant at all.

I think I'd know man, cuz, um, you know, I WAS THERE!!! lol.gif Seriously though, I was introduced to LiVE by my older sister, who made me a TC demo tape - I listened to it til it broke and loved every minute - age was irrelevant.

If you think about it TC is for some people a shut out for LIVE; once they've heard it they don't appreciate any of their other work.

Maybe thats where the other guy was goin?

Obviously this is a silly thread because no one can dictate whos a fan. but even know my post was a joke, i cant imagine someone having SFBM or BOP or V as their fav live album. Im sure defenders will respond with a version of "to each his/her own" but this band published 4 masterpieces before these last 3 jokes and the quality of songwriting is clear.

its cool if you appreciate any album they do...i know i find things i like in every album they have.....but i want to hear reasons why someone would have any of the three albums mentioned above as their fav live album....anyone who is a "LIVE SENIOR" should understand what I am saying. A Live Senior isn't someone who got introduced to Live because of The River



Personnally My fav rotates. but the top spot is often filled by SS or V.
Now V fills this spot due to its multitude of styles. Rather that following a format like say Perl jam and holding on to Grunge Live experimented with differant sounds and vocal technique creating some of my favourite songs such as Forever, deep enough and Simple creed.

Personnally people who state TC as their Fav album are more often then not the people at concerts that as surprised that it was not their 1st album.

I was introduced with TC and White Discussion is still one of the best songs ever penned and remixed.

But move on. The band did.

If you dont grow and change you end up not being able to appreciate any new music. Or worse end up like your parents.
