The Minnesota date is confirmed by FOL. Also, if you are going to create fake dates, why not at least take the time to make the bogus dates reflect Live's touring pattern. Live has not played 4 shows in a row in nearly a decade, and they rarely play a Monday night in the US.

If you are going to lie, at least lie well.

Actually, I saw them on their 4th night in a row just two years ago in Cleveland. Get your facts straight! The Ohio shows are still on.

I hope they are, but something tells me you are full of crap as usual. If you're right, I'll apologize.

Live, Collective Soul & Blues Traveler tour
Fri, Jun 6th 2008 4:43 pm EST
By Jane Cohen & Bob Grossweiner
The triple bill of rockers Collective Soul, veteran alt-rockers Live and long-running jam band Blues Traveler will hit the amphitheatre circuit this summer beginning July 4 at Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, CO.

The tour is scheduled to run through August 17 at Chastain Park Amphitheatre in Atlanta, GA, and the three acts are set to perform many of their chart-topping hits from their respective careers.

“It’s great to be out with Live again this summer, and we’re excited to have Blues Traveler join us," Collective Soul's principal songwriter and lead singer Ed Roland said in a statement.

Collective Soul’s latest CD, "Afterwords," debuted in the Top 25 on Billboard’s Album Chart and was a Top 10 album on iTunes during its first week of release.

Live's latest album, the 12-track "Radiant Sea: A Collection of Bootleg Rarities and Two New Songs," is only being sold at concerts and on its website.

"Everything is changing constantly, and Live is just trying to maintain our commitment to quality music and shows, but also change with the times and the technology,"said lead singer and frontman Ed Kowalczyk in a recent interview with FierceDeveloper.com. "We're keeping all of our options open right now. I think it's obvious that the future is now and that technology is offering up ways to connect to our fans that we could never have imagined 15 or so years ago when we started recording and touring."

Blues Traveler continues to support last year's "Cover Yourself," a re-recording of fan favorites with mostly acoustic arrangements.

Collective Soul, Live and Blues Traveler tour dates:

July 4 Morrison, CO Red Rocks Amphitheater
July 9 Redmond, WA Marymoor Amphitheater
July 11 Kelseyville, CA Konocti Field Amphitheatre
July 12 Temecula, CA Pechanga Entertainment Center

July 15 Phoenix, AZ Mesa Amphitheater
July 18 Edmonton, AB Capitol Ex Ed Fest
July 19 Fort McMurray, AB McDonald Island Summer Slam
July 21 Valparaiso, IN Porter County Fair
July 22 Duluth, MN Bayfront Festival Park
July 24 Rochester, MI Meadow Brook Music Festival
July 25 West Bend, WI Washington County Fair
July 29 Columbus, OH The LC Amphitheater
July 30 New York, NY Hammerstein Ballroom
August 2 Bethlehem, PA Musikfest
August 3 Toms River, NJ Toms River Fest

Nice of Collective Soul to sneak out a press release before all the dates are announced. Even nicer that they put their solo dates up with the triple-bill dates without mentioning any difference between the two.

Yeah, I just noticed that too when I was looking into the Pittsburgh date. To tell you the truth I'm kind of relieved that Live isn't included in this show because I really wasn't looking forward to sitting through a baseball game. Although I do hope that they announce a date closer to me or I might have to start considering a trip to Columbus, OH.

I don't think that likely, the majority of dates must already be out. Hopefully I'm wrong...
