Where you at the Seether, BB, 3DG show in AC this past weekend?

I got to meet Shaun Morgan after the show. Guy was all class. Very nice.

NO. cry.gif I wasn't able to get tickets. sad.gif That is so amazing that you got to meet him. I probably would have passed out. innocent.gif

I DID get my tickets to see Flyleaf and Seether in May at the Electric Factory in Philly. I won't miss another Seether concert that's for sure! I'm so excited!!! yahoo.gif

I hope you had a great time!!

'Glad to hear Shaun and Seether are doing well!

I saw 'em summer 2006 for RockFest out here and they didn't sound good at all. Maybe it had to do with the fact Shaun was heading to rehab the next day.

I called the Borgata today, and they said the show is all ages as long as you attend with someone 21 and over. The later did not seem all that with it, but that's what she said. So, if you want to bring younger friends, siblings, or children, i think you may be able to.

I can't wait for Friday!! woot!

I have the whole day off thank god. I just started a new job where I'm getting up at 3 am so it will be nice to sleep in Friday morning.

We also got hooked up with a limo for the night. My friend who is going with us knows someone who owns a limo company and we are only paying $40 a person for the limo which we will have from 5pm when we leave til 6 am when we arrive home. Gonna be a wild time! We are leaving later than I usually would to get down there but its the only time we could get the limo so what the hell. I'm sure Live will have everyone waiting for 90 minutes like usual to start the show anyway.

I'd like to be going to this show, but unless Live dramatically change their set-list up, I'm going to pass up shows here and there, unless its in my own backyard in Philly. I'm so tired of predicting the next 5-6 songs in a row.

1 All Over You
2 Waitress
3 The River
4 Turn My Head
5 The Dolphin's Cry
6 They Stood Up For Love
7 Selling The Drama
8 I Walk The Line
9 Wings
10 Shit Towne
11 Run To The Water
12 I Alone
13 Heaven

Encore:
14 Sofia
15 Lakini's Juice
16 Voodoo Lady
17 Lightning Crashes
18 White, Discussion

Do I have that right? I'm pretty sure I've got all the songs, just not sure about the order. This show, while lacking in length (remember that last House of Blues show in November 06?) the band was just on. Borgata has a huge stage, which I rarely get to see the band on...especially with the size of the Starland's stage tomorrow night. It was great to see Ed and Chad T. running all over the place. Besides The River and Turn My Head, the set never slowed down...and it was great to hear Turn My Head after a little while. Great sound in the venue too. And White, Discussion absolutely blows my mind whenever they play it.

I was just reading reviews and whatnot from DC...and I just can't agree that Live has lost anything. Yea it is different from the way the songs were played when the albums came out (hell, I was 9 when Throwing Copper was released) but they are just go through their songs so well...and it looks to me like they still have meaning to them even after all the years of playing a similar set. This was the 13th show I've been to since they played Atlantic City in 2001...with Starland tomorrow being 14...and holy crap they are good at what they do.

This was one of the best shows that Live has ever performed. The band was into the show and the crowd responded enthusiastically, especially towards the latter half of the performance. I would say there were over 2000 people at the Borgata tonight and Live did not disappoint.

Notes:

-Turn My Head, Shittowne, and Voodoo Lady were added to the setlist in place of Mirror Song, Beauty of Gray and Dance With You. Show ended with one of the best White, Discussion I've ever seen!

-Some sound issues early on with All Over You, but were cleared up halfway through Waitress

-The band was clearly having fun the entire night, the show was a tight 90 minutes, and just extremely enjoyable. I went with three friends, two non-Live fans, and we all had a blast.

-Finally met Janice, and saw Tina and her friend(I think I know the name, but rather not get it wrong. All very nice and it was great to hang with them.

- Also the band was selling 2 meet and greets along with a signed drumstick for 50 dollars, not sure if this will be standard at all shows or not.

-I am very exhausted, but I'll suck it up for Starland tomorrow night. smile.gif

First off thanks to the friends of LIVE that gave me a ticket for AC....this was now my 13th show and it was good...I didnt think it was great...I love LIVE and they have inspired me so much....they will ALWAYS be my favorite band..
BUT..how many times can ya hear the same songs over and over in concert...??
WINGS-SOPHIA mixed it a little as did WAITRESS=VOO DOO LADY
but I just didnt feel it last night as I have in past concerts like SAYREVILLE which according to TAYLOR will rock as usual..."always a great venue" Chad said.
I did get to buy CHAD T a shot and beer at the GYPSY BAR(GREAT BAR in BORGATA!!)before the show...he came over to thank me and gave me a man hug and we BS'd about stuff for like 10 minutes...how about he's in the GYM 4days a week now and it shows...BOXING!!! he looks good and was running around like madman!
ED WAS PUMPED all night....ADAM and PAT where quiet and I really couldnt hear CHAD G 's drums much..mikes needed tURNED UP on drums..
I would rate the show a 7 out of 10!!!

BIG NEWS coming!!!

I talked to TIM(Hillarys )fiance(hauls gear).....they are planning something BIG for LIVE fans and the news will be OUT SOON!!!
I just cant tell YA,..I'll leave it up to TIM...
Thanks so much TIM..you and HILLARY are a PERFECT MATCH!!!

Hey everyone! I haven't been on here in a loooong time but wanted to toss in my 2 cents.

Can we talk about how much guitar Ed played last night???? I think there were 5-6 songs where he DIDN'T play! That was GREAT to see!

And Taylor looked great. He's fittin' up again! Lookin good!
Was it just me or did he have sex with his guitar during ... LJ or WD ... I'm lucky I remember my name after that! (that was GLORIOUS. Feel free to keep THAT in the set!!!)
