Want a rarities album? Let's Make It Happen!

Next to Live, the people here collectively have the largest amount of Live material. An Unselfish Attitude is needed to make this work.

Think of the typical Live fan with just the basic albums and go from there. If you have any high quality recordings of an unreleased song, Live cover, or great concert recording place a link here for download.

Just keep in mind - this isn't about you or me, this is about Live fans helping all Live fans! There's been a lot of talk about Radiant Sea not offering enough so let's do something about it.

I'll get it started with the first contribution. If I see participation I'll be happy to add more. Even if you don't feel you can benefit consider yourself lucky, but you can help with the right attitude!

If this board pulls together we can make a great album! for every Live fan.

I have easily over 800 Live files on my computer, and there's no way I'm going to waste my time uploading any of them.

Reason: almost everyone on this board has all of them.

If you don't believe me, maybe some people on the board will support me on this one.

Great Idea. As a fan I haven't had access to a lot of the "off the CD" stuff. I hope people are willing to share.

Like he said, it's for the general Live fan without the other stuff. If you have 800 files I would really appreciate a few of them, especially the unreleased stuff.

Yeah... we have them and if there was more stuff the other posts would have gotten them out. I don't think we can sell a cd either. I hate to bring down the thread though but torcatofan helped.

It's all online. Just go to all the Live fansites and you'll get it all. That's how I got all of them.

This is the selfish negativity I spoke about in the first post. It's not about you or the people that have been here, it's about the Live fan that could use some help. Share if you want, be selfish if you want.


I'm not talking about selling a CD. I'm talking about everyone posting files so that people without the extras can put together there own CD with what's availible here. I'm unselfishly thinking of other people and starting a collection for everyone. If my previous link really doesn't work I'll update it later.

It's Just that I feel that J Sax did an awesome job on his thread. As a noobie, I got most of what I got off of there. Now, there are some things that can be done, like stickying Sax's thread or If I were to upload Don't Wait or "Lift me up" but I just got those off of BLH.... I don't own anything unique otherwise I'd gladly give it to the public.

Wow, it's really sad to see all the people come on here basically bashing the idea that Hoodstock came up with. If you really don't want to contribute to this, why don't you just not post?

I know that most fans find Live's music as a far cry from what it used to be, and I realize that there are a lot of "diehard" fans that are upset with this "change" (even though we all know that no single album of Live's sounds like any other) but to take that resentment and share it on this message board, like I've seen so many do before is really disheartening. I mean, what, if anything, has Live taught us through all these years? To give up on others? To not Love one another? To not want to help each other?

I for one think this is a great idea. And yes, there is a thread that was created a while ago with a lot of unreleased songs, but it didn't have them all, and now is very far down the list on this board, that many others that don't frequent this board probably don't even know about it. Maybe we can add the links from that post to this post to make it easier.

With that said, I want to give props to Hoodstock for spearheading this effort. I have some unreleased songs, but have no way of hosting them for others to download, so please, if someone has access to this, I would be more than happy to send some songs to them for them to be uploaded. Please let me know.

For the rest of you that only post on here to bring others down, or to bring to light that you think this is an awful idea, you should be ashamed, I just hope that the negativity from these posts are not the way you carry yourselves in the "real world." Cause if that's true, I really feel bad for you.

Well said! By any chance are you from the SOY message board? Only kidding!!! Um...I didn't realize there are more unreleased songs out there!!! Unfortunately, I have nothing to contribute because everything I have is from this board. Please share!!!! As for the negativity on this board, half of the people are kidding a lot of times and I think people should have the freedom to express their opinion, even if I don't agree with it and if they say it without getting nasty.

All I have to say to this board is whatever. I love how people bitch about wanting new stuff but nobody is willing to share the rare stuff they have. I got this shit, I'm trying to help others out. I guess once you get spoiled you forget that people helped you at one time!

Sounds like a good idea to me, because then when new members come here saying hey anyone got some good stuff not off the albums we can say yes, yes we do. Here's an album we compiled of the best unreleased stuff. Hoodstock, good thinking.
