torcatofan...i missed the part where you said that you didn't feel so alone because of the person that knew all the songs before they played. didn't mean to doubt your knowledge.

and for the record, any time the white strat comes out, things get good for me.

That's right because Live should headline and Collective Soul should retire!

My not liking Collective Soul had nothing to do with the lack of crowd response that they received. I just don't feel Collective Soul has the necessary stage presence to fill a large space. The band(minus Ed Roland) pretty much stays rooted in their same spot their entire set and it makes for a lackluster onstage performance.

Finally Ed Roland closed his set by yelling, "You just saw Collective Soul and you know you liked it, tell your friends." He comes across as such a tool onstage that its embarrassing.

Oh my God!!!

Collective Soul does the exact same thing every time. This is the exact same show as Michigan. Probably the exact same setlist.

They stand around like wounded ducks! The lead singer complains about stage time. Then he ends every show with the exact same lame ass quote.

I'm sorry, but if you like Collective Soul on this tour you are a tool. The reporter knew exactly what he was talking about.

It would be great if they just quit and made the tour a double header, giving Live more time. That would make sitting through Counting Crows more tolerable.

I saw them last time when they toured with Live. I have never seen a lead singer forget the lyrics in the middle of a hit song (Long December), stop playing, tell the crowd he forgot, and then pick up the song a minute later after he went through it. They are the worst band ever.

I've never even seen a high school band do that. They Suck! Live should find some different touring partners!

Well I guess I'm a tool, and really I don't care. I enjoyed their show, and that's the bottom line.

You are entitled to your own opinion, just as I am, just as that reporter is.

Just a few questions.... I am going to Dayton Oh on Friday and wondered how early people got there and how close to the stage they were. What was the policy on cameras? Any kind of encore with all three bands? Live came out for Hanging Around with CC on the 2000 tour-Ed forgot the words to the song....Love it!!

LOTS of people tailgated in Wilmington so it was easy to get close to the stage if you went in early.

Tons of people brought cameras (I should've brought mine!).

No encore from Collective Soul and Live. Counting Crows didn't really have an encore - more of a break. Everyone knew they were coming back.

Unfortunately the bands didn't all play together for Hangin' Around. I really was hoping to see that. Oh well. I hope they do at least once on the tour and that someone catches it on video.

Enjoy the show!
