The Pittsburgh Pirates' schedule lists "LIVE In Concert" on Tuesday, July 3. According to the link on that page:

LIVE In Concert
Following the Buccos vs Brewers, it's an exclusive one-night-only concert by the band LIVE.

Good find, I wonder what other shows the band will be playing around this date?

I've never been to a concert at a baseball game. Where does the band usually set up to perform? In the outfield? Are fans allowed on the field? I know there were some acts who did a baseball tour last year. I never went, but I'd be interested to find out how it happens.

Thinking about going, as hubby is a huge baseball guy. Baseball and Live combined.. I think he might explode.

So, anybody else going to this game/show? I'm pretty excited. I haven't been to a baseball game since PNC Park's inaugural season back in 2001 and I'm always pumped to get to see LIVE, especially since it'll have been almost three whole months. tongue.gif

Was that the order of the setlist? How was Ed's voice and the band's sound? Thanks for posting so quickly.

Yeah, that was the order of the set list. The band sounded great, but the show itself was meh. They played in the middle of the field, while the crowd was in the stadium seating. We were actually behind the stage in left field, so we had to watch from the screen. And, of course, all the crowd knew was Throwing Copper material...

Oh well...I have Eastlake to look forward to in a few weeks!

We actually bumped into Ed, Adam and Pat outside the stadium as we were walking to our cars. Ed took a pic with my friend Aly and walked away before I could mutter anything...second time he got away before I got a freaking pic with him. But I finally got to meet Pat, so it's all good!

I'll have pics up that I took of the screen probably sometime this weekend.

Thanks for the review. I think we'll be getting weird crowds for the most part this summer.

btw, nick, define "weird"? do you mean the crowds aren't staunch fans of LiVE or is it that they only know the songs off TC?

glad to see the guys performing, having a great time despite overly biased fans.
