It was one of the best Live shows that I have ever seen.

aaaahhhhhh !!! i agree !!
probably the most kick ASS +LiVE+ show i have ever seen EVER !!!!
it started off a little slow (and late !) but the guys MORE than made up for it by playing past midnight !! and OMG !! Iris, PLOTR, and that CRAZY 10-minute rendition of White, Discussion !!!
i am still reeling.
if someone doesn't get to it first, i'll try to post the full setlist in a bit.
right now i need a shower and a nap !

rockin.gif
I FREAKIN LOVE THIS BAND !!!!!

(now if only we could get them to play a little Insomnia, Century and Heropsycho.. i'd be set for life ! ;o)

my 4th show of the year...the beginning was a liitle slugish...but after 11:30 all HELL broke loose....they did a great job...I would say they are probably again very tired....PAT gave CHAD T. a hug at the end like he was glad its over....Adam was hangn at the poker tables before show...and ED handed Me & STOODUP FOR LOVE (Here) his wine bottle during show...CT got crazy in the end as usual...which was awesome..overall...I thought it was a good show...time for some R&R for the boyz...and i hope they do stay together.... hi.gif

I was at the Baltimore concert. My first ever Live concert, so of course it was fun for me. But, I was expecting so much more. And i knew by the end of the night, that the HOB gig would be a kick ass show.

Was Eddie still growing hair and a beard?

Yet again another awesome show at the HOB in AC. Great energy from the band last night. Ed seemed a bit more fiesty than usual. Kinda reminded me of the mid 90's days. Sounded great, the crowd was a bit on the rowdy side for a Live concert. We had a fight start right behind us in the GA section. And had some guys giving everyone the finger on their way back up to their balcony seats, which I'm wondering if its the same guys who were starting fights up there.

And seriously I thought Ed was gonna pull an Axl Rose on us. Leaving us hanging until 10:30 not cool haha. But the show was well worth the wait.

Did some gambling after the show at the Showboat and Taj. Stayed at a hotel about 12 miles away didn't get there until about 5 30 am had to check out by 11 this morning. So I'm going on about 4 hours of sleep as well. The whole night was worth it though!

I'll post a lil more on the show after I get some well needed rest. I can't think too straight as of yet.

I'm reading all the letters on this show and I can't believe what I am reading! To me, I think this show was pretty lame! Expecting again that they would not start on time (typical), I just knew that they would play the same ol songs...again. I mean, what a slow start. Mystery, into Voodoo Lady, into pretty much a few other slower songs. Voodoo rocked, but come on! And I can't stand this little tired version of Lakini's Juice. They lost the pep in that song! I am doing these figures in my head and I think Live's best days were back in 1999 & 2000. They had more energy, more excitement and style. They seem to be playing to more tracks, now that Railo is not with them anymore. And by the way, I happened to like what Railo brought to the table, when he was around. A lot of people complained about his singing, which I can understand...but I think the keys made the songs so much better. Now, they sound just ordinary.

I have personaly gone to about 20+ Live shows, and I think Live is certainly going downhill. Ed made this comment during the show about how he thinks he wants the next album to be "Angry" again. I hope so, because I'm sick of SFBM. I think it sucks, and I think it shows in the guys playing too. They are not as young anymore, but it doesn't mean they have to play so mediocre. I thought they seemed tired, and I really don't want to hear that crap about how long their touring was...and how I would be tired too if I played all those shows. I think it's just funny how they play 30 songs over in another country, and they can't even start a show on time in the U.S.

BTW, I happened to tag along with a friend to the aftershow. It was great to be there, but it was so freaking hard to talk more than 5 seconds to the guys. They were definitely occupied by a lot of people, which is cool...but it didn't seem like they were "greeting". They seemed to stick to people they knew. Big disappointment.

Sure, there are a lot of sucky bands out there...but I am hoping that Live will rekindle the flames. I am getting too disappointed.

I'm guessing no one got the setlist, but it seems it was damn near 30 songs. I think we wont see the new album till 2009. Everyone seemed a little sad at the end. Its definitely going to be a long break. I think Pat and Chad's hug was one in that there is a going to be a long break and we dont know what may or may not happen during that break.

We should try to piece the setlist together for the record.

and i agree that the show started a little bit slow.. but dude, did they not MORE than make up for it ??!! sure they didnt start on time, but did Ed not continue the show (for more than half an hour !) when the HOB guys were trying to turn the p.a. music back on ??
i've been to 20+ LiVE shows too, and this one was FAR from being lame ! although i do miss hearing some of the SS songs from the '97 tour, i can say whole-heartedly that these boys NEVER disappoint me.
