Why oh why haven't we heard anything official about a second single ??

FriendsofLive has announced for months now that Mystery is the 2nd single, there seems to be a cover..., and a 2 track single (USA) is listed at the discogrp. site...

But if they wanted to release it as a second single, they wouldn't have waited this long!

Waiting so long with a releasing a 2nd single kills an album, it needs at least 2 good singles, 1 lead single (The River...the good or not, but I heard it enough at the radio), and than... waiting for months... man, it's now more than a year ago we first heard the first single... what the hell are they doing.

Wings would be released in Holland... Mystery in all other countries... But Wings turned out to be only a radio single after a few weeks, and a real Mystery single you can buy and hold, still isn't here...
It makes the promotion of SFBM even worse than BoP!!

The only hope I have, is that they are waiting to release the duet with Chris... it's a good version, and I can't imagine they recorded that version only for fun... anyhoo, if they release the single most people will think they have yet another album released one year after TheRiver appeared on the radio!!

serious, they wait too long. Ed said in a SFBM-interview that Show would be one of his personal choices as a single.. well I predict there well be no third single at all... I even doubt there will be a 2nd

No one responded not because no one cares about the new singles. No one responded because no one cares about Live in general.

The activity in this forum is generated by the debate on whether or not Live should close up shop or not. Until Live (if they ever do, that is) releases a good rock album, people are going to continue to be indifferent.

yeah oek I know that, but I thought some people would care about new singles cause they also did with The River single and because singles brings a band possibly in the spotlights again, wheter it is with a very hated single by fans or not

But I keep my fingers crossed that people here someday find their way back to Live.
I made a mistake by trying to force them.
It's a way they have to find back by themselves if they can and want when it's the right time for them to do that.

SecretInsomnia: I have been seeking in the Epic site, in the Sony/BMG site, in the Music Store site and in the site of the Free Record Shop.

But I did not find a releasedate.
The only thing I found out is that you can download the song "Mystery" for €0,99 at www.freerecordshop.nl .
Maybe I will visit the record shop in my village today or tomorrow to ask it.

I don't hope that Live does not dare to release and perform it.
A lot of their "so-called" (or must I say lost?) fans here have become so adjective.
But the poll in "Should Live call it quits?" tells another story.

Crustyclown: I was shocked and annoyed when you came up with "Should Live call it quits?", but I get why you did it.
You want to confront us with what we do with people who work so hard for us.
I don't care how much time they spend in a studio, it's all about what they come up with when they leave the studio.
And that can't always be what you like or want, sometimes they come up with what you need.
But, a couple of days ago I found out that I can't help people to find if they don't want to or are just not ready for it.
In fact I was trying to hard .

Don't be afraid GvB, they will never be influenced by such a silly topic of this. They always made the music they wanted and were feelin', right? IF they don't dare to release Mystery is does have a few other reasons maybe, but not this topic
And thanks or searching. The possibility to download it means something, but I still don't understand the delay. But I didn't understand the delay of SFBM 3 times, so whatever,....
I know Live will continue with releasing music I will (for the most part) like, and that's a good feeling I must say. And I don't ask to stop with the positive message of Ed, but please bring back some of the rock edge to the music even if it's only the kind of rock BoP has. The fact that they did rock was the first reason I fell in love with this band...so please bring back a little of it.
