Well I haven't heard it yet, but you get the idea. When you here it post the station, time, and if it was an akward situation, post that too for entertainment purposes.

you mean like after the song finishes there's a 20 second silence then the radio jockeys clear their throats and say...."oookaaaay, that was LIVE"...???????

Come to think of it I did hear Live on the radio the other day. They played Lightning Crashes. The radio jockey was wondering what ever happened to Live. Have no idea sarcasm.gif

Well, you could always turn it around on him and say "whatever happened to mainstream?" I don't know. He may not get it...

I am starting to think that Songs from Black Mountain won't be an instant hit. The River is going to need time to catch on in all formats and people should be slowly introduced to Live. Hopefully the album opens in the Top 20 and sticks around for a long time on the Billboard charts as The River rises up the charts in different formats.

"The River" needs to become a hit on POP or AC radio. Hot A/C radio and Rock radio no longer translate to album sales on their own. The formats are just to small. I just hope Epic pushes the song/album correctly.

The album will be a big hit with child molesters and soccer moms who secretly masturbate to the thought of Ed dipping his head in oil and rubbing it on their stomachs. If they want to reach anyone else, Live needs to get it together.

Good luck to Dan and this new site, and thanks for all the live music you give us that we wouldn't otherwise have,
take care

I don't think they'll do too well with it.
Especially with the kids that were there pre-BoP.
Post BoP kids might appreciate it more.
But I'm still gonna buy the thing and love it by default.

yep, that's probably the feeling amongst most of the older fans. but i think it can go even earlier than BoP. i think V was somewhat of a turning point for a lot of us (although i am sure some won't agree), that was when it was clearer that things were already changing.

Heard "The River" on Studio Brussel two days ago. No akward situations; they actually played the whole song that time! (luckily, cause it's such a short song already! wink.gif )
