Does any of the Michigan crew here have experience at this venue? I saw them at the DTE amphitheater in 2018 and didn’t love the venue, but caught them at soaring Eagle Casino a couple years later and surprisingly really enjoyed that one.

Since it’s been a couple years since I saw them in concert, I’m considering making this trek, but would be interested in hearing if it’s a decent venue since I don’t know much about Sterling Heights

It's a very nice venue. Similar setup to Pine Knob but smaller. Has a pavilion area and a general admission lawn. I'll be there, looking forward to it.

Thanks for that. I’m still on the fence about whether to go or not. It’s a little pricier than I like, but it still looks like there’s plenty of seats so I have time to think about it.

I'm sure you do.

I bought lawn seats for $25 each when they went on sale. Obviously they takcked on fees, but seemed pretty reasonable to me.

Great show, Līve sounded really good. Went in thinking it could be my last show. Walked out with a renewed sense of interest in the band.

I had a great time also.

They sounded real good. The guitar player and bass player were very animated. The bass player looked like Kerry King from where I was sitting in the 2nd to last row of the seats. The guitar player also seemed real flashy and was doing a lot of guitar theatrics which I don't know if Chad Taylor ever did or didn't do.

Hoodstock can correct me if I'm wrong, but I would be willing to bet money (I had a couple pops) that Live didn't play "White, Discussion" and if they did it definitely wasn't after "Rattlensake".

Līve 100% did not play White, Discussion at this show.

I had lawn seats. A random guys walked up and gave me two pit tickets after Our Lady Peace played because his buddy didn't show up. It was an awesome suprise.

The venue was packed. Līve sounded great, with a lot more excitement and energy then their reunion tour. People saying the band sounds off really just have a personal issue with the band politics. There were a lot of Our Lady Peace and Collecive Soul fans in the audience. I'm guessing none of them noticed any issues with Līve.

I will say there were way more Our Lady Peace shirts than either other band In the crowd. Glad Līve played first, we had to leave about 4 song into the CS set to make an airport pickup. Their mix was really heavy on the drums. Definately had our ears ringing when we left.

I just pulled "White, Discussion" off the setlist with shockingly little effort.

I've never edited setlist.fm before. I assume some strongly worded Emails from someone will be headed in my direction.

I'm very jealous of the pit tickets you got for free.
