The White River Amphitheater in Auburn, WA is a stone's throw from where I live, but I'm so burned on the samey lackluster setlist that I don't think I can do it for $100+ for a decent seat.

I wish they were playing somewhere else first so I could judge based on the setlist, but given what ~15 songs they were playing just last September, I'll just watch videos on YouTube.

Opening night would probably be the best time to see Live. At least you would come into the show not knowing what would be played. The setlist is not going to change much (if at all) from then onwards so at least you'll get the excitement of guessing what will be played next.

The venues on this tour look to be quite large. Does Collective Soul have a big following because Live version X certainly doesn't.

That's debatable. Last time they came here and opened for Live the lead singer was belittling the crowed, saying they weren't getting into their show enough. The show was lame, not the crowds fault.

Dunno about live performances but if they play 8/10 of their greatest hits it will be an amazing gig.
I also like MOTHER'S LOVE from the last album, sounds good

Agreed, this is an hour away from where I live and I just can't do it for $150 bucks. I don't understand, this is a show in the country without a supporting album. There are so many great bands in Seattle at better venues and better pricing. I can't say I'm surprised that there are so many open seats.

I saw Our Lady Peace as a headliner last week and honestly, it's outrageous that they open for Live. They are way better. Bassist is amazng, they put out a very energetic show. Plus they have released quite a few new songs recently, which Live failed to do again.

And I wasn't even a big OLP fan before, but they give it all. Guitarist and drummer are also a treat to watch. Wiah them the best and to have some headlining show in the Us too. They deserve it.

I'll be seeing this tour in MI later this month, so I haven't seen Our Lady Peace yet, but that guy's voice is so annyoing and most of their songs rub me in such a wrong way that I don't have any problems with them opening for Live.

"Starseed" is about the only song I ever really liked by them.

I'm gonna go out on a limb and say you probably didn't care much for Smashing Pumpkins either, right?
