Welcome to the forum. I hope you find what you're looking for.. If you have anything to share then that would be great as well.

Just realized that I never came back here to thank you.

Thank you!

Chris does a great job on those tracks, but Ed's voice is just too buttery to match.

Hi, I'm not really active in the Live community in recent years, but I hope everyone here is doing well.

I was searching for a specific recording in my collection, but somehow it is eluding me.
The song in question is the acoustic version of Forever that Ed did back in the day. I believe it was a quick and dirty recording he did in GarageBand, so it's not a studio version in the classic sense.

I'd be very happy if someone could share a copy of it. Perhaps others would enjoy it too smile.gif

Thanks!

Long time/old time Live fan - first time on this forum. What an awesome resource.

For someone like me, who detests fades in/out and wishes the TDTH studio recording of Where Fishes Go had the rocking concert intro, and opened TDTH just like Rattlesnake did for SS...

I'm looking to create a hybrid version of Where Fishes Go that begins with a high quality, direct from soundboard, concert intro and then blends to the studio cut (perhaps even the 4:43 Ambhibious extended version so there's no fade out at the end).

From what I have my hands on, a few options are:

2000-08-22 Homdel, NJ - It's good, but the guitar solo is a bit strange at the end. And it's VERY fast. Getting this to mesh with the speed of the TDTH studio cut could be a challenge.

1999-07-23 Woodstock - This one is my front runner. It's a bit slower, good quality. But there's a effing keyboard flare right at the transition point. I may be able to work with it. The copy I have is an mp3.

Thoughts? Any other options you can think of?

Welcome to the forum. I recommend checking out these recordings from The Distance To Here. I think it may have a version of Where Fishes Go that meets your requirements.

TDTH Outtakes, inc. Still Aroused (studio) and Overcome (full band)

Here are some 1999 shows that feature Where Fishes Go. These are pro/soundboard quality.

[Audio] Live 1999-12-09 Ghent, Belgium (Flanders Expo), radio broadcast - awesome quality

[Audio] Live 1999-12-02 Den Haag, Holland, soundboard recording - The Distance to Den Haag

[Audio] 1999-12-02, Live at Statenhal, The Hague, Holland, 2xCDr, Promo

Wow, thanks @dangum! Plenty to chew on here. The demo WFG from the Complete B-Sides & Rarities collection doesn't have the intro, but this one actually does.

Hi there! I'm new to this forum. I've been a fan of Live ever since I was a young kid, and joining these old school forums for different bands has netted me some cool stuff. that being said, I'm searching for the rest of this concert, hopefully in better quality but I'll take what I can get.

Hello Starbreaker. Welcome to the forum. I'm sure you'll find lots in the Multimedia forum.

Here is a link to the full show on YouTube.

I think there is a version of this show on DVD somewhere, I'll check my collection for it, but from what I remember the quality wasn't that much better.

Does anyone have a FLAC rip of the TDTH 'Acoustic Sessions' European bonus CD?

https://www.discogs.com/release/575619-Live...istance-To-Here

It's the same 5 tracks that appear on the TSUFL single (recorded at Jet Studio Brussels) but sequenced in the order in which they were played.

If there is anybody in Europe who would purchase and rip this, then I will re-imburse you the cost of the CD and postage. I'd get it myself, but I'm not paying $1 for the CD and $30 for postage and then waiting 1+ month for it to arrive to Australia.

If nobody else pops up then I don't mind grabbing a copy this evening. Presumably either of the top two (from FalconVinyl and RecordHustler_NL) would be fine?

Thanks Dan and Merica - so very much appreciated!

While there is a spirit of generosity abounding, I'm also looking for a high quality image scan of the back cover of this TDC promo CD:

Specifically this image for an upcoming fan-made project eyebrow.gif
