Maybe United Fiber and Data has court dates on their schedule.

Nice!

A Court World Tour. A World Court Tour?

I could drop them a couple of suggestions.

The band's withdrawal from these shows is 100% not their fault.

The promoter gives the reason in a prepared statement but that doesn't mean it's factually true. It's standard industry speak.

So people on here should lay off pointing the finger at the band and point it in another direction.

Ask yourselves why has there been multiple venue changes, downsizing, cancelled gigs?

Wake up and smell the coffee Mrs Bueller. It's a fools paradise. He's just leading you down the primrose path.

Not buying what you are selling.

I see what I missed and I need better glasses. “Scheduling conflicts.” Of course it’s court dates as Hoodstock says.

I don't believe it is the band's fault at all. The promoter seemed shady from the get go.

However, people are rightfully disappointed. Live is an important part of many fan's lives, and with the concert calendar empty, it is a massive let down when a tour doesn't happen.

I wonder why Bush and STP stayed on, and how the promoter was able to add Cheap Trick?

There does happen to be a pandemic going on, I'm sure this effects their bottom line. But why do you think the tour was good enough for the other bands and not Live?

I would love to give the exact reason, but I'm not willing to do so.

I will say simply this, it involves the promoter devil.gif

Absolutely has nothing to do with UFD or court dates!

Nick some background into promoter's past:

McManus Pleads Guilty

As for why Cheap Trick, the answer is simple. In 2008 the promoter toured Def Leppard in Australia, Cheap Trick was the support act. So he's got an existing relationship with that band.

Annoyed that it is, I can't refund my tickets to the show so it's a matter of selling them I suppose, not awfully interested without Live involved!

I wonder what Live has got planned for the next 30 days?

The tour starts April 30, but all international visitors to Australia need to stay 14 days in quarantine which means they would have been in Australia by now.

Live stated that they were unable to come to Australia "Due to scheduling conflicts" (their words), so what has Live got scheduled between now and the 16 of May?

As a live and recording act, STP are currently kicking Live's ass up, down and sideways. Well worth seeing.

100% agree. So are Bush.
And Līve are oblivious to the fact. Or they just don’t care.

Seems like they don't care. Music is not a priority to them and very unclear as to why that is the case.

I appreciate what STP is doing as a band but for me they died with Scott. I just can't get into the newer stuff. One of my favorite bands of all time.

IMO, the new Bush album The Kingdom is awesome. IMO there are some amazing songs, it's their best since Sixteen Stone. If Live put out something that good I'd probably have a heart attack. I'd highly recommend giving it a few spins if you haven't.
