I still dream of a tour with Alanis Morisette. Līve would end up supporting, but I would prefer a co-headlining tour with her. If they could get another nostalgic 90s opening act as opener (much like Our Lady Peace did for them and Bush), I think it would sell plenty of tix.

I'm a bit affraid it would get lost because of everyone going on tour when all of it will be over. Their best move would have been that they keep being active during the pandemic and also release a couple of songs, new or old, but they clearly have other problems to solve.

agreed. many bands have used this as an opportunity to make new music and be proactive with fans. Not +Live+.

I agree with you 100% that Līve missed their opportunity to release songs and do something special for fans/interact with fans during the pandemic.

Also, point taken about the tour idea. Didn’t think about it that way and you’re probably right. It’s going to be an even longer dry spell in the desert known as Līve.

I'm hoping we get that Ed K. solo album soon, at least. Something to chew on while Līve sorts out what they're doing.

I saw they're promoting aftershock on IG.

I actually hate the idea of going to concerts because I am a crippling introvert and despise crowds. But I would swallow that ginormous lump in my throat to go see Alanis and Live. Fuck me sideways.

As for another nostalgic 90s act... Collective Soul maybe? Veruca Salt? Semisonic? Better Than Ezra? Garbage?

Hell yea! Any of the bands you mention are a great choice but Collective Soul would be my #1 choice. Freaking love them (suck they do not!). Better Than Ezra would make me delirious too. “It was good! Living with you, WAHA!”

I'd rather see them with CS, given the choice, though I think there's zero chance Live would headline that. I saw BTE in the 90s, and they're good live, but it seems like a less good match up. I can't see them with Garbage.

For me it's easily BTE my favorite among them, but Kevin Griffin (singer) really became poppish with time, so not an exactly good fit. Like said CS is the best fit in that.

They already opened for Live. CS was boring and sounded horrible. In Detroit the lead singer was on stage complaining to the audience that nobody was into their show. You know your band is laying a dud when it comes to that.
