omg.gif GHOST, hands down! ...Just the part at 5:00 min. in is enough alone to make this a winner. Go and cue it up right there... “Where did Iiiiii goooo wroooong, ba-bay? I nevaaaah needed this be-fore! I need a wooomaaan to help. me. feeeeelaaah.” GOOSEBUMPS

Sorry, RTTW is 3rd time “solo Ed” showed up. Right after The Distance and Sparkle. no.gif

Another tough one, cos they're both classics to me. Really is the light and love of TDTH versus the dark art of Secret Samadhi.

Pffffft.... sake. I could easily give a different answer tomorrow. But today? .... Ghost.

I'm sure I've asked this before cos obv we've covered this stuff so many times, but remind me: you see the difference between the supposed 'solo' Ed tracks on TDTH and what transpired years later, right? i.e. his stuff on TDTH is lightyears ahead of what followed.

Don't forget Pat has credits in RTTW. So don't think it's an only Ed song. Sparkle also has a band stamp to it. Distance I'd agree, but at least there's something different in it, the harpsychord...always liked this one,

But the winner of today, that's a tough one indeed. I go with GHOST also, Only grip I had with RTTW is the proeminence of keyboards in the bridge....missing a little something there. But 2 good ones again.

My vote goes to RTTW but it was also a coin flip decision to me. Both were songs I really liked at one point but have faded from my playlists over time.

Run To The Water gets my vote too. Agreed, tough call, but TDTH usually wins over Secret Samadhi for me.

Why couldn't you match Ghost against Transmit Your Love or You Are Not Alone? Lol.

I know I'm late and my vote won't count, and even if it did it wouldn't have mattered, but I choose Ghost. The raw feeling and emotion in that song runs circles around RTTW.

I've really gotta get on here at lunchtime.

Oh boy,

though I listened a lot to overcome in some rough times in 2001-2, I go with Turn my head, and quite easily.
Nice little solo. Nice subtle bass and drum lines. Loved the first video also.

Oh yea, Turn My Head for sure.

This tournament got me listening to Secret Samadhi. Love, love, love that album. It takes me right back to that time in my life, every listen. <3

It's aimed at you.

If you specified the full-band version of Overcome, it would be a lot harder to vote for Turn My Head.
