On the FoL Facebook page (not a member), there is a poll for songs fans would like for Līve to perform in 2020. I was actually surprised to see Pillar of Davidson with a strong lead. Also extremely surprising to see Run to the Water (gag) in the number 2 spot.

https://m.facebook.com/groups/LiveStreetTea...ef=group_header

Let’s discuss! ....

I think Pillar of Davidson is a great song, and much better than Run to Water. But after, what, two years of Live’s super slow encore, no thanks! I am tired of the slow, soft stuff. Did anyone here vote? What was your top pick? What would be your top two choices?

Mine are:
1. Hold Me Up (I’m still holding out hope for this one).
2. Stage (Although I don’t think Stage has any hope anymore, and that bums me out).

Furthering the discussion, not surprising to see Beauty of Gray in third, yet another slow one. Dolphins Cry in fourth, huh? I get there are staples to the setlist, and that’s one of them, and a fun one. I just expected a deeper cut to be in 4th place.

I’m not surprised by this list at all since that group is chock full of pussies. My votes go to: Good Pain, TDAOC, TBD, Stage, GHGW.

Well, I was thinking most are more like Ed K solo fans, now on the Live bandwagon, and “how dare anyone say anything the least critical of Live,” but ok.

Nice song choices.

I'd like to see them open up with "Sun" - that song rocks and I always thought it would make a good opening number like Simple Creed and The River.

More songs off of TC? Meh, stage would be awesome live though. Why not close with "Horse" tongue2.gif

I agree, “Sun” absolutely rocks, but as with “Meltdown”, “Like I Do”, etc, they are deep cuts we are NEVER going to see, unfortunately.

I went with Stage and Hold Me Up as they are more realistic choices. Still can’t believe they didn’t play Hold Me Up last summer after it was released as a single. no.gif facepalm.gif Still riding the coattails of TC 25th anniversary, I still think Stage has a 1% possibility.

As for closers that are never going to happen, my dream pick would be “Freaks.” Realistically speaking, I like WD. Go out with guns blazing, not with a yawn like last year.

Anyhoo, I’m anxious to see the Australian set list in February. It’s going to give us what to expect for 2020. They will get a couple golden nuggets. Take those away, and you will have the American setlist for 2020.

I'd love to hear Freaks, Feel the Quiet River Rage, They Stood Up For Love and Simple Creed added to the list. Would also like to hear Love Lounge make a return. No covers please.

The basic setlist for the entire upcoming year will probably be seen on the Australian tour.

sun and meltdown got like no play time. Like I do has been played a ton and was a single, so there's more of a chance for that but still almost no chance.
