I watched the entire livestream. Zak Loy is great but the percussionist seemed unnecessary. I thought maybe they had the percussionist to take pressure off of Gracey but Gracey plays as hard as he always does. It's also odd that they are not playing a newer song like Hold Me Up or Love Lounge. They do a good job with the covers but they seem out of place. I'm not a Bush fan but they do put on a better show with more energy.

It seems like it would be so simple to do things that made sense. And yet Live rarely ever do. I just don't understand.

Anybody here in the various Facebook groups? Wonder if they're getting called out there too.

Become more of a Bush fan since seeing them 2 months ago. Better show is subjective but Live absolutely had more energy between Ed and Taylor. Gavin has a lot of energy but short of a few ventures to the other side of the stage by lead guitar and bass, that’s about it.

Facebook is filled with easily pleased sheep.

What is the reason for cutting the show short by 2 songs? Live was on stage for 64 minutes.

Video quality of the stream was poor quality 720p. 720p can look nice, but the bitrate was much too low. It averaged 1 Mbps which is no good for video encoded on the fly. The company that was used to produce the stream clearly has no idea what they're doing or they were instructed to limit the upstream so that the picture suffered.

I've seen footage streamed from iPhones that look better than the crap that was dished up on Friday.

Ed sounded off and the show wasn't very good. For those that don't know, Live used to rock a venue. For this show (and tour so far) they didn't bring it. Instead of game 7 every single night it was more like game 87 of the major league baseball season with half of the lineup getting a night off.

I wouldn't be surprised if the setlist was cut short due Ed's voice being especially worn out that night. I also think Live are promoting their tour only. They probably get paid in concert ticket sales, and they probably hardly make money with the TC anniversary. So they just go by the metrics and play the fan favorite concert songs, because the casual alt rock fan is their bread and butter. They have a new merch clothing line and a new limited beer release. Things seem to be done right from a promotional angle if the goal is to make money.
