I would really like to buy that hooded sweatshirt, but don’t want to lug it around at the concert. Was surprised their new stuff isn’t in their online store as well. Shouldn’t management be handling their website? Or hiring someone to? Who IS their management? Lack of website updates makes me think that Chad T. is in charge of everything.

Many bands and artists do not put current tour merch up for sale on their website until after the tour (or tour leg) has been completed.

As for your other queries... sarcasm.gif Chad T. is not in charge of everything.

For me the low point for Live was Aug. 19, 2007.

Concert at some random park on Long Island. It was an outdoor venue and it was raining. When Live came on stage there must have been under 100 people, if that. I remember saying to my brother... this might be one of the last times we see this band together. It was like something out of Spinal Tap. Reminded me of the fake back stage area in Waynes World.

I am not a huge fan of amphitheaters in general. My wife and I just saw Ray LaMontagne in Boston and it was 48 degrees and raining... Plus you loose most of the sound. Unless your in the first few rows and its a nice summer night.

But that concert on Aug. 19, 2007 was just sad. I think there were more people at the Applebees down the road.

Even in 1995, height of Throwing Copper, could not even sell out Jones Beach. They have just never had that ability to draw large crowds to pack out MSG, even for one night.

1997 at Jones Beach, the wings were still empty.

Too bad they couldn't open for Pearl Jam!

So

Just listened to Adam Duritz on the Adam Carolla Podcast. He was on to promote their summer tour. Not a single word about +Live+

There was way more than 100 people at that show. I would say well over a thousand people, easy.

I was at this concert too and also found the size of crowd very saddening. I would say there were more like 150-200 fans in attendance.

Huh? What song did you see? They were in Dallas last night. I saw bits & pieces of a Lightning Crashes vid that was posted. I saw it through FoL Facebook. (I don’t have FB. Thankfully it’s a public group and I just read). Ed sounded really nasally in that one and they were commenting on him being hoarse. ?? I think it could have just been bad audio.

Looks like they put Beauty of Gray back in setlist last night for Dallas & I’m jelly. That’s the song I’m hoping -someone- would post a video of.

I'm in for trying to meet up before the show. Sent you a PM. Still working out timing for Sunday but will be there a bit early for the show, but was planning to cut out when the CC portion started. Anyone else?

As expected, the website has been updated with 2018 tour merch available for sale.
