Regarding the newly announced headlining show, sometime ago I commented in here (this thread, another thread??) that I’d noticed CC was booked doing some festival in September and I questioned what Live was going to do those 2 or 3 days. -So, headlining it is. But I noticed it a LONG time ago so it should have been planned/announced a LONG time ago. Super annoying indeed, especially for Michigan fans.

I recently interviewed the lead singer of Counting Crows (Adam Duritz) and he talked about why they chose LIVE to tour with and if he thinks they will perform songs together at the new shows

Livenation.com is having a sale through tonight for cheap 2 for 1 concert tickets to most shows and venues across the nation. This includes Live and Counting Crows. Use the code firework before tonight to take advantage!

For anyone that might be curious about the Counting Crows set and what their fans think, I found a fan site for CC here (it's not nearly as active as ours is) and a website where you can purchase downloads of the shows here, as well as see all the setlists. I really wish Live did that.

We are the only Live fan site left, so only the diehards and the male cheerleader of 50 year old dudes post here. Can we come to a consensus minus the cheerleader that Live 3.0 sucks to a comical level?

Based on one song? No, I’m not willing to come to that consensus. I’ll reserve that opinion for when the fill album (or EP or whatever they are doing) comes out.

So far the main problem I have with it is the second drummer. I can’t get my head wrapped around that.

LOL - read a few posts from the board. Adam tells stories- and the same ones over and over at that. He talked so much they cut two songs from the Boisie encore? What a shitty band and a shitty live show. I hate CC.

Live should have at least gone the route of Bush, STP and the Cult and did a rotating headline tour.

Hopefully by the Clarkston show they'll start mixing up the setlist - play a few other songs to prep for the headline show they have the next day.

Based on the nearly 2-year reunion which has yielded 1 garbage song, 2 drummers, a new lead guitarist, a new primary songwriter, nothing but opening acts, and having to Groupon tickets to see it.

Is there any 90s band comeback tour even remotely as embarrassing as Live's? This is so unbelievably sad that all I can do is laugh. banana.gif banana.gif banana.gif

I keep reading that they have a second drummer on this tour.

Does anybody know exactly why? Who's decision it is, and to what end?

Not a comment on the tour but my confusion lies with why there is no mention of the new song (the first in forever and since Forever) anywhere on the website and why there is no new merchandise of this amazing reunion available for purchase through the official site. shrug.gif

I would really like to buy that hooded sweatshirt, but don’t want to lug it around at the concert. Was surprised their new stuff isn’t in their online store as well. Shouldn’t management be handling their website? Or hiring someone to? Who IS their management? Lack of website updates makes me think that Chad T. is in charge of everything.

Still - you have a new single and not even a mention on the site?
