What about the spat with Live?

We were playing a festival, and their crew was harassing people. I called 'em on it, and the band did the Hollywood hide-behind-the-bouncer thing. The band is a bunch of pussies. Once you've got guys clearing the hallway for you, you're a karaoke band.

I would really like to hear the other side of this story, but we never will i'm sure. Stephan Jenkins seems to have problems with quite a few people. It makes you wonder - maybe it's him, he's the common theme in all these issues. I've seen some interviews with him on youtube, he's very odd and annoying.

Third Eye Blind's first two albums were brilliant. Their third was alright but Kevin Cadogen's departure was a huge loss.

So true. Kevin Cadogen's songwriting is what made them complete and special and that's why their first two albums were great. Such a shame with all the unreleased B-sides that never saw their potential that are finally being released on spotify with very sub par performances.

Jenkins' vocals aren't very good live. They never were.

Counting Crows and Candlebox would make sense.

I love RHCP. But I hope not, because RHCP are too big. I’m afraid would be Live billed as an opener and they don’t deserve that.

I think Live and Bush would be a cool show. This is all based on Nick's unconfirmed hunch that they would go the co-headline route. Don't see why they would.

RHCP just finished a long world tour a couple of months ago. I can't imagine they'd be back on the road this year for more than a few dates here and there.

My latest theory - Live will announce a full tour in the next couple of days. The tour will probably have a proper name and feature some new material.

They probably haven't announced the tour because they didn't want the Australian shows to be confused with the upcoming tour. Those shows are likely the end of the last tour cycle.

Guessing they didn't want to launch a new tour and debut new material in Austalia.

Probably take two months or so to prep for the new set list and hit the road. This is probably the set list they were asking fans to make suggestions for. Sure the standards will be there but maybe we'll also hear a few old songs that have been out of concert rotation because they were heavily recommended online - one can hope.

Where did they ask for setlist suggestions?

On Twitter. Here's a link: https://twitter.com/Freaks4Live/status/960973613053624320

What's the point in asking if you're just going to play the exact same set from December?

I don't understand it either. They had months to rehearse a new set. I sure hope we get something different from the standard setlist over the Summer tour. I worry that isn't going to happen though because of the coheadlining thing.

I am thinking thinking the tour announcement delay is due to the other band, and not Live. My bet is last week of March, or first week of April for an announcement. I hope I'm wrong, and its earlier, but my guts says no.

Do we still know for sure there's another band? I'm still curious who it would be, everyone I would think seems to be a no-go.

Most bands that Live could co-headline with already have dates:
-3 Doors Down, Collective Soul, Bush, STP, ShineDown, Goo Goo Dolls, Smashing Pumpkins.
___________________________________________________________________________

-Counting Crows has one date in March, but a clear summer.

-Rob Thomas is working on a new album

-Lifehouse is clear

Anyone else I'm missing?!

As long as we get a Live tour, I don't care who it is with.
