Can I ask where you find out this information? The EAN numbers and who's going to distribute them?

Google told me. The Amazon link posted earlier shows an ASIN (Amazon article ID). Google found the Japanse Amazon page which shows the EAN of the CD. Googling that surfaced more sites and details.

Anybody ordered yet?

US$37.77 postage to Australia for the vinyl, CD and tape.

I baulked at that shipping quote at check out. Pretty obscene really. Hoping amazon gets the coloured vinyl variant in. It's only been a day. Maybe a cheaper option will surface.

I did. I'm in the US so it was substantially lower shipping, but still a bit pricey ($10 for USPS). I just got the CD and t-shirt. I'll think about vinyl or cassette later. I love that there's a cassette reissue, btw. It makes me super hopeful for a proper Public Affection reissue.

Me too. Although I'm going with CD first, I hope to get the cassette at a later time for nostalgia. -When I got MJ back in the day, I had the cassette. music.gif I don't know why, but do I want any other of my old fave albums on cassette reissue? Nope. Just this one.

Couldn't resist the colored vinyl, cassette, cd, and t-shirt combo!

It's really not a bad price at all when you look at the price of the original MJ vinyl alone on eBay. Of course that's original... but still. tongue.gif

Nice and great deal in my opinion!

Here's hoping to an awesome TC release with the same level of quality (and hopefully some unreleased songs!).

We Deal In Dreams
Hold Me Up
Susquehanna
WD Sam Server Remix

Maybe Unplugged, or a concert with Dusted, Cheetah, Supernatural

Didn't someone in the band confirm a while back that MTV Unplugged would eventually get an official release? i assumed that it would be the bonus with a reissue of TC (as a DVD). Also this MJ reissue more or less confirms that we will have Hold Me Up and Susquehanna by 2019 yahoo.gif

I would rather have all the TC outtakes and a concert from '94/'95 for sure, not wanting unplugged personally. Would rather have a nigh energy concert with Dusted (not a high energy song, but awesome) and Cheetah on there for sure.

This seems very possible to me. Pearl Jam did the same thing with their reissue of Ten a few years back

I would love to have Throwing Copper in this same treatment

I think Chad and Ed were getting interviewed and the question of whether MTV unplugged would be released. Live's management was in the studio and Ed asked them on air, and management responded that they're currently working on getting Unplugged.

Does anyone know if there were any shows that had Dusted and Cheetah together? I bet Dusted might be more difficult to get on the TC reissue since it's a guided by voices song.

Guided by Voices should be paying Live. They would be the ones getting the most benefit from having their track appear on a Throwing Copper release. I don't get the love for the track anyway. It's slow, boring and monotonous. I hate when rock bands go acoustic mid set. Didn't like it when Live did it and didn't like it when The Gracious Few did their 'front porch' thing either. Kills the flow of the show.

Anyway, I'm really pleased that the Roxy show is the July 13 one instead of the one that is currently in circulation. High quality Susquehanna is going to be a highlight for me.
