I'm probably going to have long stretches of not being online soon with going back to Aus on the 10th and will be without net as I play musical houses back home .. so even though there are a bunch of entries I probably won't get to hear so far I'd like all of my votes to be counted towards Dmitri's cover of Simple Creed .. that's a damn fine job right there.

Also to Chipmunk Bob - STOP GIVING ED IDEAS!

Thanks mate! I'd never heard The Beacon before, sounds cool, Brett's version is pretty epic (is there an original floating around somewhere?)...and Simple Creed is rockin'- pretty good quality on the recording too.

I also quite like Turn My Head by Rob, cool arrangement, tho the sax intro/outro is sort of annoying me, reminds me of something else... tongue2.gif

A lot of effort put into the entries this year, very cool all round

It's certainly going to be tough. There are a lot of good entries. Very good musicians all around. I am anxious for Frederik's next one. I also have a dark horse entry that I submitted that will be posted soon. Since no one else did the song I did (at least so far), it kind of makes it cool (I hope). Brett's B-side covers are outstanding.

Brett, small world. You are in Woodstock, NY and I grew up just outside of Poughkeepsie. Great job on the covers man.
