Post is way to long to read. If you are saying get the original lineup back together, I agree.

You are such a prick. You have the audacity to tell him it's too long to read yet you comment on it not even knowing what he posted about. ...you are a fucking joke. I see you have not changed. facepalm.gif

BTW, great post bax!

Interesting topic. Guess this take shows people want it, but honestly have Ed and CCP spoken to each other? Do you think they speak after all that's happened? I saw both camps saying things that appeared to be 'no thanks' for the past several years, before the Live shows with shinn on vocals, pre Turn, actually.

A while back CCCP mentioned a single release of Siren's Call.
Makes me wondering why this isn't released yet??
even on social media it''s been a long time since we've heard from the boys?

That ship has long sailed. What benefit would Live receive releasing a new single now? What exactly would they be promoting? The album is 1.5 years old and they're not touring. Seems like a pointless exercise to me.

Of course, I would love for Live + Ed to get back together, although I really enjoyed the album they did with Shinn.

One stipulation though, don't let Ed write anything other than lyrics and vocal melodies, and he should not have the final word on what material is progressed. The rest of the band have proven with TGF and ShLive that they have the chops to write music up to classic Live standards, so let them get on with it, and let Ed do what he is best at too.

Is this connected?

Chad T:
When our journeys intersect with others, especially when it's complicated, we often question why. It's easy to forget that we're a mass of energy, trillions of atoms being bombarded with other atoms. It's easy to get caught up in the drama and thoughts of life, but the trajectory of these particles are unforgiving in their direction.

In this regard, we are infinitely small and matter very little to the universe outside of our own.

What happens when we accept that we have very little say in these cosmic intersections?

Forgiveness, might be recognizing that the collision itself has little to do with our position but rather our perception. For example, it's acceptable to ram into each other in bumper cars - we laugh and giggle (I, of course, never giggle) because it's expected, but if we did that with our road vehicles, we would cause great damage, frustration, anger and confusion.

Someone might be rubbing you the wrong way, or you might feel hurt or rejected, but each one of these feelings is by choice (and knowing this can be tough medicine to swallow). What are we choosing? Are we choosing to be victims? To be hurt, or angry?

It's when we tap into our free will that we can choose to either accept one another, or feel betrayed by our circumstance. Regardless, the outcome will be the same as the universe is unrelenting in its endless creation and movement.

Here's to many more years of bumper car smashing - cheers!

If CCP actually decided to regroup with Ed, you know Chad would need to lube up the Shinn fans very well. Chad would need to make these posts about cosmic forgiveness far in advance to open the Shinn fans up to the idea of inserting Ed back into the band. Many will find it painful or curious nonetheless.

This could be a coincidence, but the post by Chad T. made me think of cosmic picture that was cryptically (?) posted as LIVE's new Facebook wallpaper a couple of weeks ago.

I think you may be on to something.

Any chance we can change the banner on FansofLive to replace Chris with Ed? If Chris is gone, I think we should go back to the lead singer that is most identified with Live. Live will be remembered as the original four, and this site should reflect that IMHO.

Actually they could do whatever they want with their band. They owe fans nothing regardless of what they do.

Well Hoodie, I didn't think I had to spell it out. But obviously I meant they might prefer to win over fans if they decide to bring back Ed, and they might find it helpful to ease the transition for some of the fans if they made a long drawn out campaign about forgiveness.

I think having Ed back in the band would be a mistake. His ego seems to have the better of him. I think The Turn was their best album since The Distance To Here and I'd like to see what happens next with Chris Shinn. Who knows, maybe they have worked things out with Ed. They do have a bond that goes back to childhood. Ed's been kicked out of the business side of the band so I'll bet real money he'd just be a hired gun.

I think concessions will have to be made on both sides. That is probably why Ed said that they are taking baby steps towards reconciliation. A lot of things have to be agreed upon before they proceed forward.

Pat and Chad Gracey straight up told Ed to fuck off.

Pat was like, if we knew it was this easy, we would have gotten a new lead singer 10 years ago.

He also said I'd like to say a big Fuck You to our former lead singer.

Chad Gracey was very vocal about how offended he was that Ed tried to take majority songwriting credit.

Does anyone see Ed giving Pat and Gracey a nice apology that makes those two wanna share a tour bus with Ed, or make music with Ed? They can barely get together with Shinn.

Pat and Chad G probably both have other work going on. Chad G owns his own company. They don't need the money I bet.

I have a hard time seeing them work it out.
