I was personally hoping for a bonus disc with "the turn" that contained "hold me up" and maybe some b-sides off "the turn". I think "hold me up" and other songs like "Cheetah", etc.. should be released, i want good versions of these. Now is the time!

I would love to have those, but I don't think we'll ever get them. Ed seemed to want to keep Hold Me Up close for some reason (It wasn't even included on the Zac and Miri soundtrack), and since the split it seems it would be difficult to come to an agreement.

More importantly, I want those Secret Samadhi Churchbox demos!!!

I highly doubt you will ever see another release from LIVE with something that Ed performed on. At least until they possibly make up. I just think it would lead to more ugliness. Ed for whatever reason feels as betrayed as CCP do, so I'm sure he would make a stink about using his likeness.

I don't think it will happen too. Too bad it wasn't in the movie. I am not a huge fan of this song like others, but they need to talk to each others first.

Blu Ray of Zack and Miri just came out so recently the highest quality audio clip of Hold Me Up just became available.

But don't hold your breath. We were promised an unreleased track for signing up to the mailing list, and Chad totally blew off the deal so far. Hoping someone will bring it back to his attention.

Who actually owns the track? I thought Live did. If Live does, why can't they just release it without Edward's consent?

I'm assuming the original poster is insinuating they release Hold Me Up and other rarities covered by Shinn? For CS sing one of the most beautiful love songs (Hold Me Up) and IMO, one of the most beautiful songs that Ed Kowalczyk ever wrote would be wrong ON SO MANY LEVELS!
I think I would spontaneously combust, I would be so angry.

I don't think they will ever release some rarities from the past, that's too bad, i would love good quaility versions of Hold Me Up, Susquehanna and the Churchbox sessions.

I don't blame CCP for it, i completly understand it's almost impossible with the lawsuit etc..

But i keep on dreaming about the day they will release it, but i don't think that day ever comes...

There are more important things in life to get so emotional about.

CS covering songs from MJ, TC & SS has been distasteful enough.

I actually spent quite a bit of time in Microsoft Paint creating the image in my avatar. Besides that I think it's quite fitting considering how things went down in his latter years with Live.

If it really bothers you, I believe you can disable your browser from seeing my avatar in your forum settings.

No, the avatar doesn't bother me, just commenting on what seems like a contradiction, is all.
