Natural Born Killers is now on iTunes in Australia for those who pre ordered the album.

The verdict? A couple of listens in and it is solid. All 4 songs have been very good. I like the direction Live have taken.

If water was Ed's crutch, Chris singing about saving him or someone else is his crutch. Every song is about being saved from something or another.

So how do you know what the new song is about if this is only available on Pledge music right now?

Sounds like somebody pledged the new album just to trash it but won't admit it.

I listened to the sample on Australian Itunes. Actually it was see me tonight. So only 2 of 4 have the save me crutch.

This is total pop music though. Very far from classic Live.

That's a big call 4 songs in. Ed with water - yep that's true. He ran to the water and drowned after that! (Although a few songs from his last album were ok)

I signed into that website but still couldn't get more than Chad's intro. It keeps telling me to sign in to access it, even though I am signed in.

The chorus looks like if it is a pop song, but it's only because you haven't heard the verses. Not my favorite so far, but could grow.

Well, I actually dig this one. It's one of those songs I can kick back to, due to the cool sonic vibes/mood it gives off. However with that said, the majority of songs on this album (so far) sound a bit calm or rather even tempered. Siren's Call is a bit heavier, but not exactly aggressive. I've heard that other song Don't Run to Wait (or something like that), and it's a more upbeat song, but everything else seems to be pretty standard.

I'm a bit confused though because I thought the guys wanted to break out a bit and get rocking again. Besides from lyrics, the majority of these songs sound like something the guys could have done with Ed. Same direction as SFBM, at least to me. I'm certainly not saying I want Ed back, but it just seems like a transfer or singers, but picking up musically from where they last left of.

No hard feelings though, I guess. I'm sure they are very happy! thumbsup.gif

lol....the veil hiding your agenda couldn't be any thinner but I'll play....what is a crutch? is it a lyrical theme that someone turns to? I don't see the saved theme really coming up in new "Live" (you point out Chris' crutch, but who says Chris even wrote the lyrics?). In terms of themes, I hear a couple mirror and self reflection lyrics, but being saved sounds kinda vague and not really plainly laid out like "run to the water" "the river" "rivertown" "pain lies on the riverside" damn at otter creek" etc.

It's also in iTunes México! The four package of songs are really amazing! Even my friends who dislike the last few albums of Live (they only hear them because of me on our reunions) they say is a great come back!

And this song is A GREAT GREAT SONG! happy.gif

I wonder, anyone has the time to write the lyrics of the four songs? I missed some words... sad.gif

Good song, we have four songs now, and i like all of them.
This song has to grow on me, for me, it's the 'weakest' song i've heard so far, but i still like it.
Siren's Call and We Open The Door are exceptional.
