Does anybody know if there will be a sample preview of all songs before release?

There was, but it was removed from YouTube.

I'm sure that Amazon or iTunes will have samples of each track available closer to the release date.

The intro to the song is pretty cool. Hopeful for the rest of the album

For me, Sun and We Walk in the Dream are way better than this new single. I even think the name of the single is weak. It is confusing and not at all memorable.

I honestly feel it is in contention for worst Live song ever. I wasn't a fan of The Gracious Few, but I feel their rock was at least more ambitious than that the new Live has shown thus far.

He's been proving the point for years ever since Ed asked him to be his friend.

Just curious. Live was very popular in the Netherlands even in the 2000s. How is the comeback with a new front man and the new single received? Anybody from the Netherlands to tell us more about it?

Great question!!

(Being a late LIVE fan) I bought my tickets for the Melkweg performance.
Let the show speak for itself about Chriss being the (new) frontman of +LIVE+.
7 Nov I will be there.
Until now: what I've heard sounds good and I do not compare very deep and hard between the two "versions" of +LIVE+.
The center or core of the music is still there, the vocal sound is different.
It is different, it stays different and it should be that way (IMHO).

I think to even come close to rating this song as Live's worst is absolutely ridiculous. I can probably name at least 10 Live songs from the V era and beyond that are miles worse than this.

The truth is though I did post to argue with others about whether they like the song or not. While I don't think the song is incredible, I really do believe its a great step back in Live's direction and having heard some of the other songs in concert form, I think many of the other songs on the album will be even better than this one. Initially I was a little baffled as to why they chose this as the first single, but I get the sense from the lyrics that this song means a lot to them. The lyrics to me speak of moving forward positively, and about how moving ahead with Live meant facing things head on and understanding that while it won't be the same, that there is true worth to continuing onward with honest music.

In any case, I'm really excited for the studio versions of Siren's Call, Don't Run to Wait, etc. I think this will be the best Live music pound for pound in years.

I agree. "The way around" the growing pains of a transition "is through" - just face it head-on. That was my interpretation.

Yeah, possibly you are right! It is symbolic in many ways. Also, it comes 6th among 11 songs, right in the middle of the tracklist.

It's a pretty good song. Heavy on the autotune and production, but that's the age we live in. Very 2000s generic rock, kind of a Daughtry sort of thing, but that's okay if you're into the more generic side of radio. It'll be interesting to see if they try a little harder with the rest of the album or if it's all safe like this. So far, it's better than I expected, though.

I think the song is great.
C, C, P sound awesome, still getting use to chris's voice, but think he fits in well.

To me the song is above average. It is good but not great. It reminds me of SS era at times but also of TGF’s solos. Chis’ voice fits well with the song.

We Open the Door is better, it is more melody at least. I find is darker, too.

Though the quality of Siren’s Call, Don’t Run to Wait and 6310 R. is not good i listened to the songs loud. They sound killers.

What is puzzling for me is why Live has chosen The Way Around is Through as their first single. It does not sound like it is their strongest.

I thought the same then remembered Drama was the single off of TC and Stage and Iris push that track around. Don't Run to Wait is beastly in concert and I'm sure will be massive tracked.
