Not sure if it's been mentioned or posted yet, but looks like the new album is titled "The Turn".

Little bit of what sounds like Studio snippets of a few songs:

I pre-ordered mine within 2 minutes of receiving the e-mail about it.

I have intentionally not been listening to the new material in anticipation of the album. But, I did play the preview of the PledgeMusic page and it sounds great!! I was not a big fan of Shinn singing the old material, but the new stuff sounds amazing. can't wait!

I went with the CD, because I still like CDs. If I had an extra $100 a 30 minute guitar lesson with Chad would have been fun.

I am not sure why, but the prices noted above are not accurate to what I saw and purchased. Here's what I saw:

1. $10 - Digital download
2. $18 - Physical CD, digital download
3. $20 - Poster, digital download
4. $25 - T-Shirt, digital download
5. $25 - Signed CD, digital download
6. $35 - CD, t-shirt, digital download
7. $50 - CD, t-shit, poster, digital download
8. $100 - Skype guitar lesson with Chad Taylor (30 minutes)

I assume these are lower because I am in the U.S.

Especially that last little bit because the producer really worked hard on that vocal track to make Shinn sound like Ed!

Like I said before, the live recordings all sound like a bad high school battle of the bands, but these guys have skills, and with a good producer and some auto-tune, it should be a good sounding album. I'm just bummed that the can't sound as good live in concert... given that their name is Live and all.

At least the album cover isn't Ed pooping in a field. smile.gif

Whoa the snippet sounds good. Expectations are low so perhaps we'll be pleasantly surprised by this album as oppposed to being let down over and over again.

Yeah, it appears that the prices I posted are in US dollars, but include postage to Australia. Hence the higher cost.

I'm surprised they didn't announce a first single yet.

Confirmed release date in 2 months, alright! Siren's call is sounding pretty good. 11 tracks...I guess we'll have to take what we can get, hopefully they have more tracks in the works. I'm rooting for them to pull off a decent album.

I have no official source ...or any source other than my insight and common sense... but my guess is that the first single will be Siren's Call.
