I have the Flac files, I just can't do anything with them - and I don't want to add more programs to my CPU cause it's slow enough as it is.

You could use the program FLAC2MP3 to convert to the MP3 format.
There are also other mediaconverters to do this job.
Good luck.

I've found a few free converters, but when I look at the reviews about them they all have feedback about viruses and malware.

You could use foobar2000 to convert, easy to use, small, free.

Tried it and got a ton of pop ups and crap. Then I had to spend a ton of time uninstalling it all.

If anyone happens to have the converted mp3 files I'd appreciate it.

I don't know where you're downloading these apps from but Foobar2000 does not have any pop-ups, adware or crap in it. Your computer is probably infected and that's causing the slowdowns and other issues you're having.

BTW, http://www.foobar2000.org/download
