They follow him because they are fans of LIVE, and many are a fan of the last three albums(putting down those albums also puts down the fans who enjoyed them). His continued shots at Ed have opened the eyes of many fans who used to support him as well.

You might not realize it, but the last three albums are complete shit. They aren't Live. Live was the first 3 albums, and part of the 4th. Give me the same style of music as the first 3 albums, because that's Live. That's the Live that we want, that's the real Live. Clearly "your" Live is utter shit, and ruined what Live had built. The proof is in the numbers, the numbers which you so tightly cling too.

You want opened eyes, wait till all this EK shit finally hits the fan. So many people need to find out what really happened, because it will make them completely sick.

Actually, I feel like his honesty has let a lot of people know what type of person Ed is. He has cleared up some questions with his last few updates.

And no, putting down an album does not put down the people that enjoyed them. That is the dumbest thing I have seen since the last time you posted.

Some people like pancakes. I don't. Am I putting them down when I say I think pancakes don't taste good?

Having a difference of opinion is one thing, but posting the "No Ed no Live" type stuff is really childish. I'd never post such drivel on someone's page. Let me get this straight, you've liked someone's page but continually post negative shit about them? Get a life is right.

TDTH was a great record. It flowed wonderfully. I wish we got the harder versions of the songs but it's all water over the bridge.

I think the guys have accepted plenty of responsibility for how awful the last few albums were.

How un-psyched would we all be if they came out and said "WE ARE MAKING V PART 2"

How does putting down the last three albums also put down the fans who enjoyed them? I didn't mind V and enjoyed a couple of tracks from BOP.

Is ragging out on the albums a personal slight on me? No. it's someone's opinion on the quality of music. My opinion is different. Connecting an attack on the albums to include fans who enjoyed them is ludicrous.

They have said it many times in the past 2+ years. They supported Ed in his directions which resulted in demise. It's their only failing here. They've owned it and are not hiding from it.

There are other dubious things afoot here internally which are in the open now. The man (Ed)wont come to his senses and change his thinking.....he's that gone!! He's insane.

I did an interview once where I said that my band's first album was complete trash and I wasn't proud of it at all. It wasn't even a situation where the band was clearly having internal struggles, I just personally didn't like it. The interviewer said that he loved the album and we proceeded to have a 20 minute argument where he tried to convince me that my own musical work was any good.

All that to say, they made the music and they can say whatever they want about it. Circumstances change, personal tastes change, everything is constantly in flux. That's the way music should be.

I don't think we need to go down that path on this thread but I suppose it is inevitable.

funky nailed it, In his last comment, CT really opens up indirectly and directly about the last 10 years. He really isn't happy with these years, for the band AND for himself as well. Hew wished it could have been different but it wasn't. He still feels bad about it. He regrets it. He laid it down.

I don't understand why CCP stayed in this band relationship for all this time. After all they were 3 against Ed for the musical direction, but it is the past, and we (and they)moved on. It took long, but finally we're there. This week has been so good for a true Live fan. We won't be disappointed and SFBM will turn itself in its grave when it will hear the record. Because even worms aren't interested to SFBM.

There is music I liked 10 years ago and probably at some point recommended it to someone which now I think "god why the hell did I ever like that and why would I have recommended it??" ... but the person I recommended it to might still really like it and whats wrong with that?
Chad made some music which he promoted at the time which now he doesn't think is quite so good but some people still like it ... god it's just not that hard to wrap your head around. Why does everything have to be absolute and constant all the time ... like Funky said, music is constantly in flux, so is some taste.

I don't see what is so hard to understand about CT having an internal struggle to want to do right by his friend and support him even if it goes against what the band initially stood for, partly to see where it goes, partly to keep the friendship on better terms ... CT supported Ed when Ed started taking over Live, perhaps he thought it was a phase that would be gotten over and they'd get back to the old dynamic but eventually it just got worse and worse to breaking point where he couldn't do it anymore. Yes in hindsight breaking point should have been around V, or certainly after BOP ... but everything is easy to say in hindsight, it just would not have been so simple and so black and white at the time ... these were complex, deep friendships being dealt with. To just decided "CT just did it to ride the gravy train" is just fucking stupid, completely simplifying the situation to such a degree to sound like a moron because you can't comprehend the complexity of such a situation and based on absolutely nothing. Not to mention if you wanted to ride the gravy train you'd not be part of writing shit like SFBM which was not destined for big bucks, you'd be making TC parts 2, 3, 4, 5 and 6 over and over.
