I really don't like cats. How can anyone like cats when there are dogs in this world? I would take a lousy dog over a great cat any day of the week. The other day, I mentioned to a friend that I think that there should be a hunting season for cats.

I'll start with a sad story. I've had a cat/s all my life until last year. Last one fell out of a tree and died. It gets sadder. She burnt her little paw pads and claws off 3 of her paws in the bushfires here 3 1/2 years ago. She probably should have been put down then but the vets were doing all this amazing work with burnt animals and after about 4 months in hospital she came home. Before that she was one of those hunting cats, typical cat that did what she wanted, when she wanted. After, she was a quiet little thing. But then she seemed to get this fuck it attitude hence climbing trees once again but bit difficult for a cat without claws to hold on sad.gif

Does she hunt mice?! I think I've worn hubby down (nagged until he threw his arms up in defeat) and used the increasing mouse population as a good reason to get another cat.
