you are right, i meant they were his lyrics. the songs belong to all 4 of them.

It is just amausing that he is so willing to render his own songs meaningless and then still perform them. You can't just make songs that question religion religious by changing one phrase. But, that's who Ed is now I suppose.

Actually they are Live's songs, but he did write the lyrics yes.

It was just as annoying when he started changing the words to Operation Spirit

It is dumb for him to sing a song if it doesn't represent how he feels, but that is exactly what he is doing.

By changing the lyrics to Selling the Drama in that fashion he rendered the entire song completely meaningless. It now makes no sense whatsoever. If he has to change the lyrics in that way then he should play different songs.

I have memories of his lyrics too....as a Christian I've always respected people's right to question things.....

We have memories associated with those lyrics. He betrays us by warping them.
